About Dr. Forman
Martin S. Forman, MD, FAAP, specializes in the evaluation of children and adolescents with learning disabilities. His experience in teaching spans the range from elementary Sunday School through college and graduate school.
Dr. Forman holds an academic appointment with the University of Virginia Medical School and is devoted to instilling an appreciation of educational care in our next generation of pediatricians.
His skills as pediatrician and educator bring a unique perspective to the evaluation of the student struggling with the challenges of school. His assessments help parents to understand and cope with a range of impediments to learning including ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), hyperactivity, impulsivity, and other learning disabilities.
